Violet Riot is a Canadien pop-punk group. With influences from Paramore, New Found Glory and many more pop-punk heavy hitters, Violet Riot’s mission is to serve high energy hooks, melodic vocals and head banging break downs.
History
Violet Riot started out as a recording project with lead guitarist Colton Taylor and vocalist Karli Sylvana in 2020. Subsequently, members Mike Shaw Cross (drums), RayRay Treeze (bass), David Hesse (Guitar), were added to form a full band. After officially releasing 4 original tracks and 2 covers, Karli Sylvana chose to leave the band due to personal reasons.
In April 2023, Miss Malo joined the band as new lead vocalist. Since then, Violet Riot has begun releasing new music, & performing in Western Canada’s punk scene!
